Mattar Lab
Department of Cognitive Science, UC San Diego
Our lab studies the neuroscience of memory and decision making. We conduct experiments and design computational models using the framework of Reinforcement Learning with the goal of understanding how the brain simulates the future to guide decisions. We hope our work will help us understand healthy and pathological cognition and inform the development of new brain-inspired Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
